In my 13 years with KPMG, I have gained valuable experience working across various industries, have dealt with people of different backgrounds and been involved in different work functions (internal audit, transaction services, training, HR and marketing). I was also involved in the audits of non-profit organizations, charity events and the Malaysia HR Awards as Official Auditors, an opportunity that doesnt come by often.

In 1998 I was given the opportunity to be seconded to KPMG Silicon Valley, USA for 18 months and in the last 3 years was appointed to represent the Audit Methodology and Training Partner (AMTP) to attend meetings which the ASPAC AMTP organized in various countries. Furthermore, I was also involved in the roll out of KPMGs auditing methodology and technology where I had the chance to work with IT colleagues from various countries. Over the years, there have been many chances for me to travel globally and within the Asia Pacific region.

My journey with KPMG have shaped me into a professional who is skilled in audit and accounting, is able to work internationally, is robust and dares to face challenges. To me, KPMG is a firm which emphasizes knowledge, experience and exposure, and is one which does not hesitate to provide opportunities to its people. One can grow and excel here if one accepts these opportunities with an open mind. I enjoy the position that Im in today and I look forward to the challenges ahead with its accompanying rewards.
